FEATURED COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES:

The Bicycle Coalition of Maine is looking for energetic volunteers who can help out in their new headquarters in Portland during regular business hours. If you're considering a career in the nonprofit realm, in outdoor recreation, tourism, city planning, event planning, or education, gain experience working with a nonprofit that covers all those bases!

The coalition staff needs help with various administrative tasks and outdoor/biking projects that support its mission and wide array of programs. They would welcome a group of regular volunteers who can lend a hand! The Bicycle Coalition will be holding an information session about ways to get involved at its headquarters (34 Preble Street, Portland) on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 2:00-4:00 pm. Please contact their Volunteer Coordinator Liz Hall (liz@bikemaine.org or 623-4511) to RSVP to the info session or with any questions.
