Parkside Neighborhood Center is our near neighbor to the Portland campus, and community partner for internships and community service learning. Their semi-annual GiveAway Day is Saturday, November 5th, and donations of clothing, household and baby items, toys, books, bedding and more are needed. Please drop off clean, (lice and bedbug free, please!) usable items --especially warm winter clothing!-- Friday, November 4th from 9-11 and 4-6 at Sacred Heart/St. Dominic's Parish, corner of Sherman & Mellen Streets.
Volunteers are also needed to help staff the event, Friday, 9-11 AM and 4-6 PM and Saturday 9:30-11:30 AM and 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM. Please contact Joe Kosnow at 553-5945 or jkosnow@propeople.org to sign up.
