MLK Role Models Project

The MLK Role Models Project

Southern Maine Community College, the University of Southern Maine, and LearningWorks are working together to give students at Reiche and East End schools the chance to explore the importance of role models. Through a variety of crafts and activities, children will ask themselves what it means to be a role model , discussing the particular example of Martin Luther King Jr.

We are currently seeking college students, faculty, and staff who are interested in working with children and making a difference. Participating students will have the opportunity to lead creative activities, potentially of their own design, during one half-hour sessions. All supplies will be provided. Student groups are encouraged to participate!
