February 11th, 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM – Habitat for Humanity Work Day

Spend a day on the construction site and help provide safe, affordable housing in partnership with families who share in the "sweat equity."  No construction experience is necessary; all tools and instruction will be provided.  Dress for messy and possibly exterior work, and bring your own lunch, snacks, and plenty of water to drink.  www.habitatportlandme.org.

March 4th, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM – Partners for World Health

Help in the warehouse, sorting, organizing, and packing medical supplies to be shipped to communities in need.  Partners for World Health collects clean, unused and otherwise discarded medical supplies from local hospitals to be distributed to medical facilities in Third World countries,  while reducing waste in landfills here at home.  www.partnersforworldhealth.org
