Maine Veterans' Home

Maine Veterans' Home is an organization the works closely with the US Department of Veteran Affairs to ensure the six MVH facilities are constantly updated to provide care for Maine's hero's and their families with the dignity and respect they have earned. Their mission is "caring for those who served." Services range from rehabilitation and therapy options to long term, residential and end of life care. The program also offers assistance in the form of a stipend to qualified veterans in order to minimize costs. Some of the associated volunteer opportunities include assisting with arts and crafts, transport, reading, events, gardening, and delivering mail.
