Community Builders Needed for USM Day of Service

We are looking for a few students to be Student Facilitators during USM Day of Service on April 20th, 2012 from 9:30am-4:00pm. A facilitator is a student who is responsible for creating community among volunteers at a specific service site. Facilitators are responsible for running ice-breakers with their group, facilitating conversation during travel time, maintaining contact with USM staff during the service project, making sure all volunteers using USM transportation arrive at the service site (i.e. making sure everyone gets on the bus), facilitating reflection at the end of service, and making sure everyone gets back on the bus at the end of the service project.
