BE A HERO. BE A MENTOR. USM's Husky Mentors program matches university students with students at local middle schools. Mentors and mentees meet once a week for a year, building a positive, collaborative friendship. Mentoring is a great way to share your experience and knowledge with a younger student, and to begin to build your resume for a career in education, social work or psychology. You might even be able to receive credit towards your degree! Contact Mentoring Coordinator Emma Catherine Perry to get started! eperry@usm.maine.edu//207.780.4679
